The current students of Wayne State University's Doctor of Audiology are proud of those who walked before us. As we begin our careers in the field, it is our previous graduates that we look to as inspiration.

WE INVITE YOU TO ATTEND OUR ANNUAL GRADUATION PARTY

 

The WSU SAA is supporting a cocktail party for our graduating class. Students, their families, academic and clinical faculty as well as clinic site supervisors will be attending. There are nearly 100 Michigan licensed audiologists involved in our doctoral program and many of them our Wayne alumni. 

 

We would like to welcome our alumni to this event. Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while reacquainting yourself with the colleagues you know and those you've yet to know.

SUPPORT THE WAYNE SAA CHAPTER

 

The audiology students of Wayne State work hard, volunteering their time and enthusiasm, to support the community efforts of their SAA chapter. You can support their education in several ways. 

 

  1. Hire an extern! Fourth year placements are critical to the learning outcomes for audiology students. Your experience and knowledge can help shape a young professional.

  2. Mentor a student! The AAA and National SAA are looking for audiologists willing to mentor students looking towards a career in the field. 

  3. Donate! What may be coffee money to you could be critical funds for our SAA chapter. We actively volunteer in our community and work to provide learning opportunities for our students, even a small $10 donation can go a long way towards achieving these goals.  

  4. Purchase Apparel! This is a win-win opportunity to support the Wayne State SAA. You get a great t-shirt or fleece and each purchase provides a small profit which is used entirely to support the Wayne State SAA activities.
